Slender, lightweight, agile and minimalistic, the Aprilia Dorsoduro is yet another product conceived from Aprilia’s decades of racing experience – this time from the world of Supermoto, a racing series that Aprilia quickly dominated with the debut of the SXV supermotard competition bike. Racing technology applied to the 750 cubic centimeter Dorsoduro includes a mixed trellis and aluminum frame which results in amazing directional control, riding precision and flick-of-the-wrist responsiveness. A host of additional innovations, from tri-map Ride-By-Wire engine management to four-piston radial brake calipers and wave discs, give riders all the technology required to outperform bigger, more expensive Supermoto machines. Despite its racing DNA, the Dorsoduro is also perfectly civilized for street riding.
